ShadowIRC 1.1 Made Open Source and ShadowIRC 1.0.4 Made Freeware

ShadowIRC 1.1 has been released under the Open Source GNU GPL, and ShadowIRC 1.0.4 is now free for personal use. You can read the press release here.

The project is being hosted by the SourceForge project at http://sourceforge.net/projects/shadowirc/. SourceForge provides CVS and anonymous FTP access to the source code. CVS access to ShadowIRC is currently unavailable but should be up soon. In addition, users can contribute patches and participate in message board discussions, allowing user and developer interaction.
