Available Plugins
Since our favorite programmer is busy coding and doesn't have time to update these pages everyday, I have offered to take over the task of providing ShadowIRC users with a list if available plugins. To see what plugins are available for ShadowIRC, please visit http://plugins.shadowirc.com.

I do not support, nor will I take responsibility for any plugin listed on the above site. These resources are provided only as a convienence for plugin authors and ShadowIRC users.

Plugin Requests

Listed below are ideas for plugins that have been requested. If you're interested in writing a plugin that addresses one or more of these requests or would like to add a suggestion to this list, email John Bafford. If you're suggesting a plugin, please, nothing silly or outlandish.
  • mIRC/Ircle color utility (set color display based on client version)
  • IRC Operator utility pack
  • UnderNet CService aid (make X/W "easier" to use)
  • Scripting environment plugins. Possible suggestions are mIRC, TCL/Tk, Perl, ircII, and AppleScript, among others

Writing Plugins

To write plugins, you need the ShadowIRC Plugins SDK (Software Development Kit). You do not need this file unless you want to write plugins.
You can download the ShadowIRC SDK from the following links:

ShadowIRC SDK 1.1 August 1, 2000
SourceForge

If you have an idea for ShadowIRC or a plugin you would like to see, email John Bafford. Comments about individual plugins should go to the plugin's author.
